Adsense – images next to ads

Ym.pngToday I was surfing on my favorite webmasters forum (DP) and was drawn to read a thread about Adsense. What wasn’t my surprise to discover that Adsense has clarified or rather imposed new rules on using images next to ads. From now on there are new guide lines that affiliates will have to adhere to in order to use images next to their ads which includes not lining the two together. In simpler terms, images and ads may in no way what so appear to be associated. For more information on what is permitted and what is not you can read the Adsense team’s clarifications.

That’s one sexy beast

The guys working for the Top Gear TV show must be one of the luckiest people to have ever walked the face of the earth. How else could you describe someone that gets to take a spin in nearly all of the sexiest cars ever made?

browser.pngWell it seems yet another blogger as gotten their hand smacked for using copyrighted material without proper paid permission. Perez Hilton one of the most eminent and funny celebrity blogger is being accused of copyright infringement by a Los Angeles photo agency for using their work without permission.  According to X17 who own the photos, Perez Hilton is steeling their work and using it for free without giving the respective owners credit for their efforts.  For this reason they have decided to file a $7.6 million federal copyright infringement lawsuit against Hilton. To be honest I don’t know exactly how I feel about this since the law is the law and people should have the right to protect their work.  In my humble opinion this matter lies on the thin grey line so deciding who is right can be quite complicate, at least for me anyway.

Lately I've been so sick with the flu that creating any sort of post leaves me breathless. Well today  I decided to add a random comic video that I found on Youtube. Hope you enjoy.

The RSS Feed Search Engine

xmag.pngA few days ago as I entertained myself on the DigitalPoint forums (DP) I came across a very cool RSS feed Search Engine (SE) that really caught my attention. The main reason for this is that I've been thinking of a similar project for some time now but never actually got around to developing the idea, guess it's to late now. Although it is roughly similar to what I was planning, the Octora SE still managed to add a few functions which I found to be pretty cool. I won't get into more technical details because it is pretty self explanatory however I do advice everyone to take a look, trust me you won't regret it.

Like most of us already know, laughing is the best medicine, especially when good ideas for creating posts become scarce. Today I decided to take a look at the very talked about Metacafe, to see if I could find something interesting funny to post on my blog. Whilst searching around I found so many videos that choosing one proved to be an impossible task, so here are the ones I mostly enjoyed.
