At first I had to put up with alot of trouble- trying different products and webinars- I had to learn many things before i got it right- BEFORE I finally got things right. One thing you can count on- is that so-called guru’s will tell you to pick a blog or product that you know soemthing of- I only knew about sports and poker- not very lucrative in affiliate marketing- i had to select something that would make money. I like sports and poker- BOTH of which are pretty competitive- so it was pretty clear from the get-go that I would have to choose topics for blogging that I most likely wouldnt know too much about.

If you know how to research – and you will shoot straight to the part where you find out what people want to buy-because if you are to make any serious money from blogs -you are gonna have to create many blogs about stuff you may know nothing about. Here are a few great places to see what people are looking for right now:
* Ebay Pulse – Gives you a great idea of whats hot right now
* Google Zeitgeist – Use this to see trends and find out what keywords are being searched for over the last week, month, and quarter
* Amazon – Simple type on a keyword and see what types of books are written -and remember- the more books, the better the chances are that people are making money of the keyword/products
* Consumer Reports – Use the consumer reports to find out which products are trusted the most -people USE this site to rank products – so should you
* Yahoo! Buzz – Not only can you see whats trending in the search engines -but you can also submit YOUR OWN Links, which will become a huge part of building blogs authority and bringing free traffic toy our blogs
Obviously there are many other sites -these simple, popular research sites, will give you a quick study in researching techniques- and then you can apply them to other aspects and areas in your blogging . Although it is important for us to be able to tackle more competitive keywords and products – I have always thought that it is a good idea for new marketers/ bloggers to start out with smaller, less competitive products and keywords.
I know that if you gain success early on- you will have a better chance at sticking with this blogging thing. And if you can begin making money with your first few blogs -you will definitely be more inclined to keep moving forward. This is so important- these methods are what I use to make many sales all the time-and sometimes we can just bite off more than they can chew- and when they dont instantly make money, they eventually fall off and give up- even AFTER making sales.
