Razer Edge gaming tablet review/ hands on video HD

Thankfully, the Edges GPU is not only discreet, but also powerful and (thankfully) not fragmented between the two models: an NVIDIA GT640M LE powers the graphics on both, while 4GB or 8GB (respectively) of DDR3 RAM keeps it all running smoothly. You’ll be able to buy extended battery that will hold op to 6-8 hours full gaming without the dock!

yeah but for $500-$1000 i could just buy 2 brand new graphics cards. i would also hope we can change the storage capacity. even an sd card slot would be nice.
by 1BYEBYE1, on January 27 2013 @ 3:48 am
yeah but they’re not 550mb/s down they’re like 300-400mb/s. i would rather have speed then storage.

ya these ssd are expensive but they are worth buying (you really get what you pay for in all expensive itams). But if they put an 1 tb ssd in this device than it would be too expensive for anybody to buy. It would be great it if i can update it myself and swap out the ssds that originally came with the devices…
by 1BYEBYE1, on January 27 2013 @ 6:04 am
yeah i was asking this guy for his personal 500gb and 1tb SSD, i didn’t say they didn’t exist.
by Ricco96701, on January 27 2013 @ 7:12 am
why?
by nr98001, on January 27 2013 @ 8:20 am
Not sure what you expect with a tablet built on laptop components. It was meant for gaming, not playing 99 cent apps.

As in my previous reply to your comment… Micron/Crucial just released a 1TB SSD for under $600. Should really start googling before you come here trolling people.
by nr98001, on January 27 2013 @ 10:36 am
Yes they do. There is also a new 2TB 2.5 inch SSD that’ll be out soon as well. A simple google search would have revealed this. On newegg there is one from OCZ. Micron/Crucial just released a 1TB SSD for under 600 bucks as well. Again, google is your friend.
