    I own Canon 7D Nikon D7000 they don’t come close to the pictures I have taken with this Sony Alpha A77 just blows them away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    they already have the A900 and they can make its successor !! but what I meant is that they should make a pro body camera because I think Sony is 100% able to do it.. I didnt mean a new SLT I meant a full pro body camera (with a mirror and pentaprism) cause I think many people are waiting for something like that to happen and it will be a huge success !!! :)

    Doesn’t make much sense right now. That would be a gigantic jump, and to be frank, SLT isn’t that good yet. For the moment, it would make more sense for them to make a lower-pro model, competing with the 5d and d800.

    Well, but come on, that 1DX cost 6,000 compared to 2,000 with lens or 1,300 body only. not really a fair comparison

    sorry to dissagree with you, i own a Sony DSC-R1 and an Alpha A700 and a Nikon D300s, and the A700 just blows away the Nikon in terms of image sharpness and quality, yeah maybe the noise level is not that good as the Nikon, but for studio work and landscape i ALWAYS pick up the A700 :) it’s just a personal choice :)

    Sony T.V are good. Sony electronic stuff in general are good. But Sony cameras suck especially photo cameras (not video camera)

    @TheDx917 sure..but compare it for resolution. to pay additional $149 and you got 24.3mp instead of 18mp. sony is for sony enthusiast that know the fact XXX brand its sensor were made by sony and know that XXX brand focusing only to noise but lack of true color.go find yourself a 7d then.cheers.

    yeah !! this actually is a great camera that has tons of really great features that makes it really awesome BUT its is kinda overpriced for me !! i mean 1499$ body only? i would get the 7D for 1350$ and a cheapo 50mm f1.8 or a CF card !! if they put it on the price of 1350 it would be a perfect deal !!

    @bluebetapro ONE DOES NOT COMPARE AN APSC SENSOR CAMERA WITH A FULL FRAME SENSOR.bring out canon 7D,60D and nikon D300′s,D7000..they all beaten by by this monster77.
