This camera in the US is 800 dollars.. You want to invest ispn a superzoom.. This is the one.. Its bigger sensor, smooth manual zooming, high resolution EVF, made in Japan tells you how good the built quality is and overall for me this is the best megazoom to get.

@cannoir,
This is true for alot of things in the UK. They cost more than they do in the USA

800 USD and here 700 quid , that’s nearly the double. I would like for once to know the reason why we have to pay twice as much as the americans. 30fps at 1080p and 720p sounds good to me , I hope it records sounds too. one more thing for real that thing does look like a giant penis.Dang !

Hmmmm. Good, but not what I’m looking for. For £700 I’m expecting everything on this camera.

It’ll record 30fps at 1080p and 720p. High speed movie kicks in at QVGA where it will do 70fps.

How much will it be when it hits UK ? With such awesome specfics it will beat any other bridge superzoom in the market in terms of photograpic(for video I still doubt that) performance.
This will be selling like hot cakes for those who already got their DSLR systems with lots of heavy lenses and still need a jack-of-all-trade(background defocus for portrait still not so good for close to middle range shooting distance, though) as a light backup to carry around everyday.

Video mode? I’m hoping for 24fps on 1080p and a 720p 25fps and 50fps mode. If it has this then I’m sold

it is a zoom lens…

Impressive camera, I’ll be interested to see it at the Focus show in March.
