I?d like to introduce Need for Speed Nitro for your Nintendo Wii. I should stress that it?s not a simulator. But it?s an arcade. Certainly you are waiting for the history of this game. But it?s known that arcades haven?t got even a slight resemblance of history because they are just greatly simplified simulators. It?s clear that we are again trying to win the main drivers at this time across the globe. The entire game map is divided into several countries represented by the capitals of these states. You get stars for winning races. The better the race is passed, the more stars you?ll get. They affect the opening of new routes, cars and parts for tuning.
The graphics in the game is very acceptable. When chasing T1 Transporter you?ll feel a little shabby. Stylized models of machines and bright, sunny landscapes can?t make you feel disappointed. In general we can be satisfied with the design. A colorful palette, beautiful landscapes are pretty good. But from my point of view it?s probably the main drawback of Nitro. The matter is that all of this seems to be specially created for kids.
Soundtracks are just in the best traditions of Need for Speed. In other words you?ll get a wide range of music in this case. I mean electronics, rock, and hip-hop. There are a couple of well-known groups such as Rise Aganist, but there are also many quite unknown ones. However, they all perfectly fulfilled the task set by EA.
Certainly I can?t help telling you about controls. It goes without saying that it?s also one if the most essential parameters of any video game, especially if this game is for Nintendo Wii. So as for controls I?d like to inform you that the game supports up to 5 different types of great Wii controllers. They are Wii Remote, Wii Wheel, Wii Remote + Nunchuck, Classic Controller and Gamecube Controller. To my mind an old Gamecube controller is the best choice for this game. I really like this configuration. It is a pity that the developers have not added that control available in Carbon. Unfortunately, if you tilt the stick holding A button, nothing will happen.
In general the whole game is divided into four Cups. They are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Nitro. All of them are in the same cities. The only difference is that very cup cars can be upgraded and competitors can change their cars. Well, though it?s a little more complicated it becomes natural. Multiplayer in the game is just remarkable I should say. The game supports up to 4 players simultaneously, no matter which mode you are playing. I hope I?ve told everything required. I think that you can get pleasure from this game though you know what Need for Sped means.
