Yes that’s right, I got upgraded. My cable company phoned me today to informed me that my internet connection is going to be upgraded from the current 8MB to 12MB (connection speed) and the best part, it’s all free. With my old connection I could download files from some sites, very few, at around 1mb per minute. With this new upgrade I can only imagine.
If you’re thinking that this will make all the difference think again. Very few sites around the net actually let you make downloads at these speeds. Actually the only one I can think of right now is Microsoft.com, so don’t worry about it. Higher speed internet connection doesn’t necessarily mean better web surfing.
